2027 City Budget and Property Tax Levy

The 2027 budget proposes a 3.26% overall spending increase with a tax levy increase of under half a percent. Utility changes hit residents directly: sewer rates up 3-5% depending on class, transit fares up $0.50, and a property revaluation is planned because assessed values have drifted from market values.
