Fairgrounds rezoning

Brown County's planning director argued the fairgrounds is a unique use where gravel drives are common, cited the county's 2018 master plan, and stressed budget constraints behind the paving request.

The county parks director said paving all gravel would add roughly $500,000 and could kill the project, noting 80,000 square feet of existing gravel with no complaints and stormwater calcs that pass.
