The District 3 alderman said no area residents had raised concerns, praised the applicants' restoration of the building, and urged approval to avoid another vacant building, citing his 40 years in law enforcement.

The owner of the former Advance Auto Parts franchise testified the building had been a neighborhood detriment before the applicants' dramatic transformation and supported the request.

Speaking for her husband's business, she stressed they work the site daily, are committed to Green Bay, and want to maintain high standards at both buildings; her husband Brandon added the expansion would protect their property investment.
