Business owner on West Main said she believes the city used to split sidewalk costs 50/50 and asked for at least that, noting businesses will already be hurt by the Highway 50/DOT closure.

Complained he only learned of the assessment affecting his Cook Street/West Main property from the meeting itself and asked the council to hold off until details and timing (versus the DOT project) are explained.
