Tourism Commission composition (Ordinance 26-08)

A Tourism Commission and Visit Lake Geneva board member argued other Wisconsin municipalities allow dual membership and urged the council to postpone the ordinance changes.

Representing Harbor Shores and with past service on both bodies, she argued dual service creates real conflicts of interest and supported the proposed separation.

A hotel industry veteran walked through quorum, residency and conflict-of-interest problems in the redline ordinance and asked the council to table it.
