Prohibited dangerous animal — Teddy

Eyewitness to the entire attack; described a prolonged, vicious assault, her rescue of the wounded golden retriever, and wound care for the victim. Said her grandkids can no longer ride bikes on that sidewalk and the neighborhood no longer feels safe.

Described running out with a steel security bar and repeatedly striking the attacking dog to free the victim and her pet; said the dog was like 'a tank' and expressed remorse at having to hit it.

The dog's owner argued Teddy had no prior incidents in five years, presented photos with his toddler niece and other dogs, said three veterinarians called the incident common, and contended the removal order was breed-biased against pit bulls.
