City tree damage claims

The retired police officer described tree roots pushing up her sidewalk and destroying her retaining wall, saying she fixed it herself and just wants reimbursement.

She said a branch fell on her car on a calm morning, she's already paid out of pocket once, and on a fixed income she can't afford a second round of repairs.

She said she's complained repeatedly about a city tree that ruined her gate, porch and her son's car, and argued she shouldn't pay for damage caused by a tree she can't control.
