Midtown Center redevelopment

The 2nd District alderman spoke strongly in support, rebutting what he called misinformation about the project and the Capitol Library, and urged commissioners to weigh neighborhood residents' views over outside advocacy groups.

The AFS applicant explained the data-center use was pulled to address community concerns, and argued self-storage is a low-impact use that makes the wider redevelopment feasible.
